The nonprofit restaurant is committed to transforming the lives of at-risk youth who have spent time in detention facilities by providing intensive culinary, job and life-skills training, along with continued mentorship and support. During his session, Chad will inspire with stories of some of his workers and graduates.
 

Carlos Herrera, Chief Economist, Coca-Cola

An economist with 24 years of experience at Coca-Cola, Carlos will share his deep understanding of the foodservice industry with an economic perspective. Known for his contributions toward strategy and operational planning, he will begin the conference by discussing the challenges that come with navigating through our global economy as an operator. 
 

Chris Wilson, Owner & CEO, Barclay Investment Corporation

During his 16 years in prison, Chris graduated high school, taught himself to read and write multiple languages, started a career center and earned an Associates Degree. He committed his life to self-improvement and helping others and is now the owner and founder of Barclay Investment Corporation. Listen and be inspired by his journey from violence to becoming a self-made entrepreneur and learn how he has dedicated himself to helping employ citizens returning from prison.
